Who we are

Guilford Cares is a non-profit residents’ organization in Guilford, Vermont. We provide a personal caring safety net of services and programs to the community with a focus on older residents.

We sustain this mission with the help from volunteers, contributions and town support. If you, a family member or neighbor need assistance, we are just a phone call away.

Guilford Cares has been an integral part of the community for decades, offering a wide range of supportive services. From assisting individuals returning home from the hospital to running a food pantry and providing transportation to appointments and grocery stores, they ensure the well-being of community members. Additionally, they conduct regular check-ins on those living alone, offer medical alert systems for peace of mind, assist with internet access for connectivity, and even provide the services of a home nurse for essential medical monitoring.
